Galatians 6 - 6.30.25

Scripture

Gal. 6:9-9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Observation

Paul speaks about how we must live to please the Spirit and not the flesh. We will reap a harvest of God’s blessings (instead of a harvest of destruction), if we do not give up in doing good. He then exhorts the church to do good to all people, but especially highlights our own brothers and sisters in Christ.

Application

Do good to our brothers and sisters in the faith.

Something just stood out to me! As we do good to our brothers and sisters in Christ, we will always reap a harvest! That’s why we cannot give up in carrying each other’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), encouraging one another and meeting together. (Hebrews 10:25)

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” -John‬ ‭13‬:‭34‬-‭35‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Prayer

Dear Lord,

Thank you for my family of faith. Thank You that You placed me in a family that wouldn’t hesitate to pray for me, encourage me, lift me up and meet corporately to honor You and give You glory.  I pray a special blessing over all of my brothers and sisters in You. I also pray that I would never give up in doing good and showing love to them as well. Thank You Holy Spirit for bringing us all together in unity. Amen.
